It was so much fun.
25:52
I was struggling a bit in that first quarter, but, I mean, you know, obviously raising money for a great cause and, you know, the opportunity to be able to come out and do it.
26:02
You know, I've been out of the game six years now and...
26:05
What a blessing to be able to run around with some of the players I played with, some of the players I played against.
26:10
I know everyone enjoyed themselves.
26:13
Some of them are still very competitive, but we hope everyone enjoyed themselves and we're going to thank everyone for coming out and being part of
26:34
I mean, Buddy down
26:35
forward, he was unstoppable.

Some of the players I played with, some of the players I played against.

I know everyone enjoyed themselves.
1:25
Some of them are still very competitive, but we hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
1:29
We're going to thank everyone for coming out and being part of it.
1:42
Was it seeing some of your old friends and your old foes out here as well?
1:45
Yeah, I mean, there was a lot of highlights.
89:20
When you're watching it, do you watch it through that lens where you're critiquing it and saying, what are they, and being perhaps
89:27
a little critical? I wouldn't say critical, but, I mean, absolutely.
89:30
I mean, you're watching the way players move the ball, the decisions they make, and you might think at times maybe I wouldn't have made that decision.
89:37
But, you know, I think we play a very unique game.
89:40
I think having 36 players in a field at one time, you know, things are always changing.
89:44
And you talk about structures within games, you know, that can change.
89:48
And I think the best coaches are the ones that are able to train players up to make decisions for themselves on the field.
91:17
clubs reach out to you to come in and perhaps, maybe not mentor, because that can be labour intensive, but to try to help some of the players out with their skills or what they need to be thinking? Maybe.
54:35
[laughs]
54:36
Um, and it was at the age of 16, I was actually invited down to the Geelong Falcons to try out.
54:40
Again, still wasn't sure whether or not football was what I wanted to do with my life.
54:43
Had a really great conversation with my dad, and he said, "Look, I think you're good enough to make it at the top level." Had a really great year, and from there, that was when, uh, the Geelong Football Club told me they were gonna take me father-son.
54:53
And I think at that time, uh, and I think this is the case for any young kid, you know, you, you, you're building that self-belief, you know.
54:58
I was like a sponge.
54:59
I was taking in as much information as I could- And for me, I said, "Look, I'm gonna make the most of, you know, this contract that I've been given," which was, was two years.

7 MINS LATER

The Suns, uh, you must be enjoying how they're turning things around nicely.
