But what can we do to remedy what's mentioned in there?

You know, the age of the fleet has been well publicised and we thank Vago and welcome the report.

you know, just really put a significant spotlight on that issue.

And now we'll continue to work with our fleet team and with government and within the funding envelope that we've got to try and get our frontline fire trucks, you know, bring that age profile down in the years to come.

We've welcomed some of the commitments that have already been made from government towards doing that.

But we know that we've got a lot of work in front of us to get our fleet, you know, particularly some of those aged appliances out of the system.

I might add that our district mechanical officers and our fleet services team do a phenomenal job in making sure that those vehicles are in the best condition they can be in, so they're exceptionally well maintained in terms of the equipment that's on them.
