I hope to get back to the Saints in a minute, but I wanted to bring you on today to talk a bit about the AP poll and, of course, again, your thoughts on the poll, who you voted for in the poll, and then we'll talk a little bit about LSU and Tulane.

Yeah, so I had Ohio State won, which everybody else had.

But I also had Texas number two, and they went with Oregon.

And then the big difference also in the poll was I had LSU number nine and Ole Miss 11.

But in the AP poll, they had Ole Miss nine and LSU 11.

So there wasn't a lot of differences.

I did have Florida Gators with John Summerall in the top 25 because I got a lot of faith in any team coached by John Summerall.

Any word on LSU's scrimmage on Saturday? I know it was closed to the media, closed, again, to everyone, but any word you're getting that came out of the scrimmage?

1-0 Spain over Argentina.

Yeah, it was kind of down and dirty.

It wasn't as beautiful as a lot of the other games in the World Cup.

I mean, it was a fantastic winner by Spain in extra time.

But it was kind of an ugly final.

You know, we had a red card.

Argentina just didn't get anything really going the entire game.

And, again, with this team transitioning, what will we see in four years in terms of the stars or the new stars of the American team?

Now, let me ask, when you look at last night's game, is it more about, in your opinion, the United States making mistakes or Belgium being the better team?

I think it was mistakes.

And I also think they were just out of this game from the start.

I don't think they should have been intimidated by Belgium.

Now, I know the record against European teams is not good.

And they got beat by this Belgium team in a friendly a few months back, 5-2, but that's just a practice game.

But no, they were never in this game.

Give me your thoughts on what happened.

Who are the best teams in the world, and how does the United States match up against those teams?

Yeah, Eric, the ceiling for USA is probably going to be the quarterfinals.

That's about as far as I think they'll go.

The favorites are Spain and France.

They're the betting favorites.

A lot of people are picking France to win the World Cup.

They won the World Cup eight years ago.

What do you think of the growth of soccer in the United States and why that is?
