Um, have any of you felt frustrated by that? How many of you have made a choice today to do X, not Y? Good.

How many of you haven't made a choice as such, but were led by the day to see how it goes? How many of you given yourselves an extra ten minutes surfing the web? [laughing] How many of you procrastinated? Well, we all do.

I do as much as you.

And I find this a great paradox because of an unliberated life.

When I was at school, in middle school and high school, I enjoyed what I learned, but I didn't like being in school because when I was about fourteen, I felt it's unnatural to live a life where a bell goes and you're corralled into a room, and someone harangues you for forty minutes on the dot.

[laughing] And then another bell goes, and you're kicked out of one haranguing place and put in another haranguing place.

He's a slave, he was.
