What is your test for whether or not a scandal matters? Like, you know, whether it'll stick and whether it will, like, really move voters or move the price in the markets.
34:41
There, there, it's really two pieces.
34:42
The first is how easy is the scandal to understand.
34:46
So something like, um, putting people in jail because they didn't pay their bills y- to you, that, that's pretty easy to understand.
34:55
Um, the Susan Collins corruptions thing, it's, it's a little harder to understand, so that doesn't stick as well.
35:03
Um, so, so number one is how easy is it to understand? And number two is how much does it align with what voters, how voters already view the candidate? So, like, Susan Collins doesn't have a huge reputation for being corrupt, so when she gets hit with a corruption charge, it, it, it doesn't stick as well.
35:23
Whereas something like, like in 2016, Hillary Clinton kind of had this, a reputation of being shady and, and doing stuff she shouldn't do and, and, you know, mishandling classified information, so when the email, the Comey email thing came out like a week before election, that, that stuck.
36:20
Well, okay, so, so why don't you, uh, name names? Are there any blowjob-level obvious scandals that are going to impact this election?
