Uh, what do you recommend?

Well, we have a whole list of, uh, of kind of policies.

But I, but I prefer to just kind of, uh, boil it down to the sort of basics, which is that when we look at the industrial food system, one of the questions we wanna ask is, like, what does it already do? What's already good about it? W- what is it about it that we wanna preserve? Um, and that's the question that we've, we've already kind of addressed here, even in the early goings, which is the incredible abundance of affordable food, um, and more choices than most people have ever experienced throughout the rest of human history.

So there's an incredible abundance of food.

What are the problems with industrial food? Well, some of those problems might include that a lot of the food system, um, is produced or produces food in unsustainable ways, um, that have dramatic, uh, environmental costs.

A second, um, that our diet on the whole is not terribly nutritious, and it could certainly be more nutritious.

And third, that a lot of the people who work in the food system are mistreated or underpaid.

How did you f- come to focus on community gardens, and where did you draw your conclusion?
