Yeah

... which we didn't, in American media, or I don't know how many other medias really heard about this, but this is where activists, like thousands of people nonviolently, you know, marched to the, the, the, like, the border or, you know, an area saying, "Look, we want to return to our homes," right? Uh, 1948, uh, Palestinians were, you know, uh, kicked out of their lands, and the UN, no one ever helped them return back, right? Um, and, uh, so what do you do? You know, the Irish thing, the Irish Republican thing, um, and, you know, which the, that is the, uh, philosophical theory of what the provisional IRA were seeking and all the other IRAs were talking about was that, um, this was our land, right? And then this happened to us, right? And now we're being called the terrorists, but you're the one pointing the gun at us, right? And so that's what's happening, that's what's happened to the Palestinians.
56:06
And then again, how do you really, really confront that through the language of Wilson and, and non-Euclidean politics? I, to be honest with you, Mark, I've, I've, I've had some trouble with that in, in recent years, you know, watching the live stream genocide, and then this response of the media in America is disgusting to me.
56:27
You know, uh, uh, uh, like, that you have to...
56:29
You know, I mean, to, to not be able to call it what it was for so long, it was a genocide.
56:36
Like, that it was totally contentious to say that, you know, uh, 70,000 plus Palestinians, you know, mostly women and children being absolutely bombed, shredded, you know, burned alive, mutilated in such horrific and disgusting ways that, uh, [chuckles] calling them future terrorists.
56:54
You know, so, um, it, it, it...

And, um, I don't think that's necessarily positive for humanity, that kind of thinking.
11:33
how would you characterize the relationship between leary and wilson first wilson
11:40
was you know an intellectual i don't know a fan if you put it that way He thought Leary was extremely innovative when he met him in 1964.
11:51
Leary explained to Bob how he applied game theory to some of the insights that he learned from his work with psychedelics.
12:01
And as I said, Leary was very well respected for this thing he and his colleagues created in the late 50s, which gets known as the Leary Circumplex or the Interpersonal Circumplex.
12:11
which is a really fascinating map or breakdown of human personality and group personality, if you will, or personalities within groups.
12:19
And so Bob was excited to meet this man, and you could read about it in the article, Leary's Psychological H-Bomb, which was published in The Realist, as I said, in the 60s.
12:31
Great article, a nice profile piece.
