It's not about you.

Never make it about you.

Everyone is there to surrender to a narrative.

The more you're conscious of yourself and how important you are and not, I'm the writer, director, so therefore my say is more than a PA or whatever.

I think the job of everyone on set of a creative art medium is sort of a surrender to narrative.

And it's your job as an actor or director or writer to pursue narrative at all costs.

And then last question, what was the through line of the movie for you? Like, what was the thing, the image, the moment that you held onto through pre-filming and post?
