it's one of those ones where people think it's going to help but the problem is if you're paying off your house then most of the time the strategy is then going to be like oh then you can refinance it to get something else so it's counterintuitive you're like paying something down to pull it off so why not just jump straight to the other set and have two things growing

exactly right it it really just didn't align with our goals um we spoke to another buyer's agents and we were told the same thing just repeatedly no you're not in it but it The assumptions, it just didn't sit well with me.
