Mm-hmm.

And so after I got my degree, I kind of learned about myself.

I really got to seeWhat was going on in my, in my bubble, in the world of Long Beach, from systematic injustices to how the mind works and, and how society and communities come together and, and, you know, how to sort misinformation from real truth and where do you source information.

So I, I have a real love for being curious, and I have a real love for learning and the library, and I'm very thirsty for the art of, of learning.

So I'm a constant student, and I, I graduated with that degree, and I took some time for myself kind of working these odd jobs and making art.

One day, I saw a open call for the public, and it asked artists to send their interest to this huge project.

[chuckles] It was this really, really big sidewalk project where I would have to draw on the sidewalk with a design that I pitched to the, uh, to the Arts Council of Long Beach, and they were the one funding the, the project as well as Bloomberg Philanthropies.

[laughs]
