Um, but, I don't know, just pick something that's true to you, I guess.

Yeah, I do not give a lot of students advice around selecting a major because of the nature of the work that I do here.

It's mostly in the classroom and how do you write this paper, you know? But when I think about My daughter and being a parent, she had two very different interests.

One was in the sciences and the other was artistic and music.

And she just really couldn't decide between the two.

And so my spouse and I were like, try to do some things connected to those.

She was already doing music and playing music, and my spouse is a musician, so she had a good sense of that world, but she went and got a job that was you know, low, very low level entry level in a lab just to see, well, what is it like in the lab? And we had her talk to different people who were in the sciences because neither of us, you know, have worked in those sorts of fields and would say, OK, well, you know, go talk to them and ask questions.

And hopefully by the time they're 18, you know what your child needs and doesn't need in terms of stress management.
