And one thing I'd say I've found is it don't do any good to try and go in smooth and easy.

You get three runs and most of the time you're better off going as hard as you can and making a mistake if so it happens rather than you start taking an easy run at it And before you know it, it's night three and it's over.

I know enough about the breeding now finally that I, I, I know it wouldn't keep me from buying a horse if I thought he had the superstar look if I didn't have a clue about his pedigree, but it helps if you've had a bloodline that did really good things for you.

Some horses, it takes a exceptional horse to be a wheel horse and perform with the rest of them, I feel like.
