When you were then in the club, what was it about the club that made it so special and so unique and made you think, "Okay, this is potentially home for me"?

Oh, now, do you know what? There's a few things.

When, when you're not a Liverpool player, you know, you view, you view the club as, as massive.

You know, I remember coming to, to Anfield as a, as a Newcastle player and it, it was special.

It, you know, you, you're coming to a historic stadium, his- historic fans, you know.

Then, then the anthem goes before the game and it, it is, it is overwhelming.

Um, and then, you know, when I did get the opportunity to sign, I, I, I jumped at the chance and, and obviously the story about, uh, being on holiday and, and doing the, the, the FaceTime with, with the manager and that, it, it, it was brilliant for me.

But if you don't mind talking to us about that, because you said about your connection with the fans, walking out at Anfield, starting that game with the Kop must've just been unbelievable.

yeah that was good that leads into my next question like was he consistently testing you and pushing you at a young age when you was a kid well like throwing apples and oranges yeah do

you know what he didn't really push me into anything um I was late into football in my eyes.

I went into secondary school and I didn't really play much football and that.

And he didn't really push me much.

And then I remember my school teacher got me a trial at Crystal Palace and my dad took me to the trial.

And his words were to me, like, if you're going to do it, let's do it properly.

So I remember in that car that day, he was like, what's your goal? And I was like, I'm just going to try and get a schoolboy scholarship at Crystal Palace.
