So what happened at the age of 19 that, uh, that brought it more-

Uh, that, uh, that was just sheer sort of fate, I suppose.

Popped into town to rent a movie.

I was a little bit ill, um, maybe had a s- chest infection or something like that.

So I went to get a movie, went past a pub.

I thought, "Mm, could sneak in for a quick one." [laughs] So, uh, then bumped into a friend who said, "What, uh, do you wanna come to the Festival of Speed tomorrow? It's Goodwood." So I said, "Yeah, I'd love to." And th- then they offered me a drive in a car.

Uh, you know, without a license or anything.

What inspired you to get into fashion and creating your own brand?

Well, the initial, the beginning of the brand happened many, many years ago.

Well, I met my business partner in 2014.

It was his idea initially.

And it wasn't until, you know, we were both still, we had our own careers to focus on at that time.

He was the head of design at a company called Hike.

I was still racing.

And for somebody who grew up around such an extraordinary sporting legacy, built a career in motorsport and moved into entrepreneurship, I'd be interested to know what does success mean for Freddie Hunt today?
