Oh, it, it is, and of course we've talked about this before.

Uh, so much of it's made right here in North Carolina.

Uh, but they have the ability to literally duplicate any kind of look in a floor, and it's amazing that, uh, it not only gives you the g- great look, but it's so easy to take care of.

That's what people love is you don't have to worry about somebody dropping anything, spills or stains.

It's waterproof, water-resistant.

Uh, it'll hold up to virtually anything, uh, you know, short of a hurricane.

Uh, so basically, actually, the, the point of this post was really to, you know, Puncture and, uh, Simon and, uh, who else was in this? It was an amazing space yesterday.

I was vibe coding, so I couldn't participate 100%, but, uh, there was a really int- And Gary, Gary was really the co-host of that space.

And, uh, it was really a space about, you know, can...

Are we losing the middle class? I'm sure Puncture can weigh in on this.

Uh, and I was, I was intrigued by this post and I kinda went back today and I was like, "Okay, is this stuff true? Is the middle class really dying?" And, and actually, I looked at the data and, uh, you know, and I s- You know, Tom Young, who's also here, has sort of said, we, "We should really look at this stuff by quartile." I looked at it by quintile.

Yeah, but even in your book you admit or, or I shouldn't say admit, you reveal that our, our, our debasement is at, you know, 6.5 to 7% a year, and I think the CPI is probably half that, no?

Now, Steven, I heard, I read that there was a double homicide on the property?

Yeah.

And, you know, the, the problem that, that we come across as, you know, people who are very serious about history and getting things right, um, particularly with Yorktown, there are a lot of records that are missing or we have not been able to, to find.

And in this particular case, we have no, like, concrete documentation of a murder-suicide, but it has been shared by multiple sources to us.

In the basement, we have, um, had really successful communication sessions that allude to this murder-suicide.

Dou- double homicide, rather.

I never know, once again, is that just lore, or is it a rumor? What have you experienced in the hospital?

And tell me a little about you guys at Cur- Curious Twins Paranormal.

Yeah.

So we are a tour company primarily here in San Antonio, and, uh, what we do is we take people to haunted locations, and we create, like, kind of environments for people to get their feet wet with the paranormal and do a little bit of ghost hunting, where we facilitate kind of large-scale experiments with the paranormal, and then we also allow for people to have some independent and private time while we investigate places.

And of course, you know, one of our most favorite locations is Yorktown Memorial Hospital.

It's one of our, our, kind of our premier locations 'cause it's just a, an amazing [laughs] place to take folks and to see their reactions and also hear about their experiences.

Oh, now I'm really intrigued.

Um, so I, I grew up, uh, with kind of, uh...

It's, it's still pretty much a, a, a sore that they don't want the scab taken off of.

Yeah.

That, that's a story, um, that she, she mentioned, um, that I think is important to, to kind of go over in, in terms of just documentation.

This story involves, that Jo just talked about, was, there was a gentleman that was kinda from predominant people in Yorktown, um, son of, and he had an issue with drugs, and he was out, uh, partying one night, and he basically was at the point that his friends knew that he was OD'd, you know, that he needed help.

And so they decided to take him to the drug rehab center, at least the story goes.

And so they drop him off at the drug rehab center just by ringing a bell, and apparently that bell didn't work, or the staff member there was negligent, but nobody attended to this gentleman, and he passed away there.

Um, now I have scoured the internet, uh, [laughs] archives, Victoria's newspaper, a town near Aquero's newspaper.

That is kind of like a secret that they were keeping.

Oh, now I'm really intrigued

intrigued[laughs] Yeah, um, so I, I grew up, uh, with kind of, uh, from a very early age, probably, uh, you know, like, three and a half, having kind of a, a very odd experience where, you know, I, I just kind of, uh, woke up from a dream and knew that my great-grandmother was going to die on a certain date.

And, um, I told my family, and they thought that I was kinda crazy or, like, just a silly child.

And then my grandmother, like, my great-grandmother did die on that date, and it kinda just opened up my family to being a little bit curious.

And my entire family had experiences as I was a kid growing up, um, in the house, uh, that I lived in.

And I think primarily it was because, uh, I was so curious about those things.

And none of them were necessarily bad or, or evil or, you know, negative, but they were things that as a kid I didn't really quite understand.

[laughs] I'm not gonna get arrested.
