I'm really looking forward to just spending a few minutes seeing your art, seeing your creation, and then talking to you and learning a little bit about your journey.

And, you know, I would say my artwork essentially is a visual diary of my lived experiences being a first generation Mexican-American, being born in East L.A. and slowly graduating, moving all the way to downtown L.A. where I always envisioned myself kind of being and working and And so like this space, you know, has been, this landing here is an accumulation of all that.

So what you're seeing is, I think of like taking car rides with my mom from East L.A. to downtown L.A. to the fashion district, to the flower district to get decorations and decorate the house.
