You know, the original side of shamanism is what you describe, a very tribal setting, a very close knowledge.

That's how it was in my family lineage.

So, I come from Greece, and in the Greek mountains, in the Pilean mountains, we had remnants of shamanism from ancient times that people practiced.

But we didn't call it shamanism because that's not the Greek word.

The word that we use is magia, which means magic, but it's not witchcraft.
