What was the gap you saw in existing psychological approaches that made you feel a new framework was needed.
1:51
Great question.
1:53
You know, many of the framework, I think it started first from behavioral, where you look at behaviors, and if you change the behaviors, then you could change the thought process, the results, and your emotion.
2:05
And then, you know, to cognition, right? If you thought, if you looked at the thoughts, challenged the thoughts, and if you saw that some thoughts weren't working for you, belief systems weren't working for you, if you could change the belief systems, then...
2:20
We could change the emotion and the behavior.
2:23
And then we landed right now with more emotional focused concepts that if you really focused on the emotion and saw the roots of the emotion, and then, you know, looked at if you shifted the emotion and the thought process behind it, then you could change the behavior and the results.

And then we also had somatic where if you looked at your body, if you did body movement, if you focused on your body, if you created mindfulness, All of those were shifting also, you know, observation of your thoughts and all of it.
