It's quite funny that that sentence you just said then that like chucking them out and the fact that you were talking about the down below culture.

reminded me of the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp that was originally, well, it was women that marched there and it was women who set it up, but they did have men come and join and come and sort of like do some of the actions and then they had a few men camping but they booted them out because they expected the women to do all the cooking cleaning and washing and look after them while they were there so that's the reason why it became exclusively women so yeah I guess there is a there is definitely still a place and a right place for women-only safe spaces, whether that's in the sailing community or, you know, in other arenas.

i know it's a good one for life in general isn't it yes like everything is like so complicated and so technical and yeah and um yeah just to strip it back down and pair it to the bare necessities and when you think of all those kind of pioneer adventurers setting off in the 60s and 70s and they're sort of like you know next to nothing um and still managing to like navigate their way around the world and and um yeah survive and sure they probably had some near misses and scary times on the way but um yeah it is doable it is possible you don't have to have it all high tech and wonderful as long as it's safe
