Anything to add on that grand summary here?

So the main reason that I'm not talking is because it was a very good point that I didn't really feel the need to add anything to.

But I will opine on it a little bit further, I guess.
33:38
Which is, there is a very...

So ludonarrative dissonance as a term is a very awkward one for TTRPGs for a bunch of reasons.

It is from a medium where the narrative, as was mentioned earlier, is a set thing that's pre-written, that's pre-done, and the people who make the game did.

One of the things about tabletop RPGs is, yes, there are pre-written stories and adventures for them, but if you are a game designer making a system the main thing that you're making isn't a story so like there's always going to be that kind of weird disconnect where the story that is played at the table the narrative that people experience isn't actually a thing you've created substantively um So is there ludonarrative dissonance? I kind of think yes, but also it's a bit of a different beast to the version that we often talk about in terms of video games where the term originally came from.

So by all means, it's not a game to run everything, but it's a great game to do this one particular thing so darn good.
