See, I've been a Christian my whole life and I only got this like maybe three, four years ago.

that was not my christian experience until i really understood this and it was my mentor and i'd gone through a really laugh like time and they just said you're a child of god like your worth doesn't change and stuff and you hear the message a thousand times but it finally clicked and so my yeah i know god's peace i know god's joy i know god's love i don't have to grapple with any of those concepts now because i actually have that deep-seated thing of like oh mate i'm a child And ever since I had that experience, I'm like, mate, this is what everyone needs to be doing.

Like every woman's conference, every like opportunity, like if we can get people to realise how much your worth is in God, how much he does love you and care for you, it shapes everything you do.

I want you guys to tell me your perceptions of Ephesians 5.22, wives, submit to your husbands, and the way you've seen that dealt with over the years.

i have two two contexts for it so i grew up in a household i'm one sister to four brothers and so it was a very male dominated household um and so my dad would quote this this was his daily quote like um and so he believed it in such a way that he lived out in an authoritarian lifestyle where it was like as a woman you are to submit you are less than you are not equal And even entitlement, like it's like, no, sorry, you can't have that because you're not the first boy or whatever your brothers do, that is what you're allowed to do.

And so he lived and breathed it in such a way that like all his household decisions were such a reflection of this statement.
