I think, you know, outside of the emotional part of, like, you are leaving your child in the care of someone else, right, which I think itself is very difficult, I think there's, like, a lot of logistical things that, um, I didn't think about but actually my, my practice thought about for me, which was really great.

I'm a high-risk pregnancy, um, doctor, and so, um, my division, uh, director is also a woman who has had children, and so I think she has been very thoughtful, um, in how we treat our postpartum and pregnant colleagues.

Um, one of the things that she actually put into place as just like a general rule so that we didn't even have to think about this was, um, anyone who has a child under six months of age does not need to take overnight call.

Um, and this was not something that I had thought about.

So, um, can, can I ask you just, like, general guidelines in terms of, um, uh, you know, how, how can, as a program, or, like, if you're listening and, like, you, you know, one of your colleagues or one of your trainees is, you know, going to be- become pregnant, like, what kind of support should we consider giving to them?
