And, um, Adobe used to have a very simple model where you give them 100 bucks for Photoshop, maybe $800 for the master collection, and then when you felt like upgrading, you got some money, you bought the new master collection.

And then maybe five years ago, they started doing really shady subscription stuff.

Like, they would do stuff like lock you into a yearly plan but pretend it's monthly, and then if you wanted to cancel, they'd charge you for the rest of the year.
