you're working on a show how much do you give to it in terms of your whole day

you know i think i've my mindset has evolved recently with like much more i have much more respect for theater now i used to just i don't know because it was it you know you get into the theater once you're at past rehearsals and tech and opening all that your day starts at about six you know and so you kind of can go oh yeah it's just the evening but No, it's so physical.

One of the other actresses in the show, she said, and I haven't researched the science of this, but she said apparently someone researched it that doing a show is the same level of adrenaline in your body as a car crash.

And I feel that.

I can almost believe that.

Yeah, I do.

And especially with a team like this, they're all so professional.

So I'd love to ask you why that idea is so appealing to you and why you think it makes work and creative media so rich to have the positive and negative sit side by side.

How is that like to play as an actor?

Yeah, that's been different and weird because normally as an actor, characters, like the very first thing you like, that's your main objective is to just like this kind of forensic search for character.

And you sort of comb through all the text and everything and try and find out.

the person behind the words but this has felt very different it feels like it's um it's more storytelling the text is more the focus um and I I feel like we are kind of the mob you know mob mentality um just this monolithic audience where it's like when people get together you know they they double side to it that where they start to feel each other's feelings and think the same way like we really do.

We absorb each other's patterns and feelings in a way that's very empathetic.

But then also they start to become one and not maybe think for themselves.

And with this group, they're very much empathetic.

What's that like?
