good course and then they'll go on the same course again like you said make a load of notes that they've already made and are in the cupboard and still not action it
14:23
Yeah, I mean, and, you know, when you deliver a lot of training like I do and I go to training, I'm at a training thing, somebody else is delivering it because I want to just kind of see different styles and I like to, you know, there's a wee nugget I might pick up and then some of the agents might go, oh my goodness, gosh, I've never thought of that before.
14:43
And you know that you've delivered that two months ago and you kind of go, what do you mean you know and you kind of it's like what do you mean you've never heard that before but you can't you just sit back and go because they forget more than they actually remember or they have an action something that you've actually said to them and they go that's a great idea never heard that before and you're like oh so it's As a trainer and a coach, it can be frustrating, but I think the more you do it, you just go, that is human nature.
15:13
And you're right, if you don't take that notebook, how many people listening to this will have been to an event, scribbled loads and loads of notes, even indexed them, even now they record it on Plod, or they do it whatever way we can do it, and then they do nothing with it.
15:32
They do nothing.
15:33
They just take that notepad and as you say, they put it away and they go, that was a really, really good training course.
15:39
That was brilliant.

I think my girlfriend finds it bizarre when I'm like, it's actually in terms of, I'm going off on one now if I just look at my other screen my diary today when I message you saying is there any chance we can make it 15 minutes earlier just because I was trying to pack in as much value into my day as possible I was like it's actually there's a gap there where I'm going to have like 15 minutes between calls of not really what what am I going to do in that can I push it forward and we've pushed it forward so I can really maximize that out of the day
8:13
So can you help us with some tips, navigate those situations where we don't have all of the answers and there is a whole lot of uncertainty about how it may turn out?
8:27
So a lot of people will say to me, I don't have the confidence to make a change.
8:33
For me, so if you break down the word confidence, it's confidere, which means with, conf for with, and fidere, which means with trust, self-trust.
8:43
So we might not have all the answers, but we have very deep within us an intuition, gut feeling, whatever you want to call it, that we know that a change needs to be made.
8:54
So if we sit with that and we go, I don't know what's going to happen, but all I know is that I need to make a small change at this point in my life.
9:06
I can't tell you what the next year, six years, 10 years are going to be, but I know that something needs to change right now.
9:13
That is within our control.
11:41
So what are some ways that those things can hold us back It would be great if you could give us some insight on how we can maybe begin to rewrite that story or even make some of those incremental shifts to not live in that place of fear and overthinking and perfectionism.

you

know, regardless of your circumstances.
4:47
Too many people overthink things and, you know, and going back to...
4:52
Why I started was I actually, so I took time away when I had the kids, when the kids were young.
4:57
I had my own business in my 20s and got married, had four kids, had four kids under five at one point.
5:05
So that was kind of my job at that point.
5:08
And then, short story is, I then got divorced.

I?
19:15
time.
19:16
But actually, when I just went, I can't do this anymore.
19:19
I left the business, left it to my manager.
19:23
It was a franchise.
19:24
So I had to kind of walk away.
19:25
It didn't financially serve me.
19:27
I had no job.

I'm loving the conversation I know what you mean and certain things going backwards when it comes to feminine energy and the way we are and social media and all the rest of it and this is where it goes back to this conversation change starts with choice we can't control everything that's going on in the world we certainly can't control the life of social media however what we can do is give our kids the the tools and I know for me and I know that you're the same being able to pass that on to our daughters and the next generation and also younger women younger women who are going through teens and giving them that right of passage from being a girl into being a woman they are getting the tools so much earlier than I got the tools I learned these tools in my 30s so being able to teach the girls how to heal how to move through things emotional intelligence how to walk with other girls and then women at such a young age will be transformational and when they have those tools then that's the way they approach everything including social media which i feel is such a gift as well
