What was it over your time in the classroom so far that you found to be the most challenging part of it?

There's a lot, I guess, that goes into the challenges and I think a lot of pieces kind of fit together to create the whole challenge.

For me, part of the challenges and I think is why it's so important and our role is so important is we don't know where the kids have come from.

We don't know what them one's been like.

We don't know what they're going home to.

We don't know what their holidays have been like.

You've got 24, 25, 26, however many kids in your classroom and they've all come from completely different places with completely different values and completely different, you know, and some kids don't have breakfast and they don't have lunch provided.

Yeah, that's... great and i think it sounds like something that obviously you continue to develop and continue to learn and through your reading and through more experiences it's changing i wonder as well do you think any of your teaching practice or your interactions with students at school changed after you became a parent you've got two amazing girls now of your own do you think that there's more of an understanding of child development and your interaction with the students at school now that you have your own children? Or do you think that the things that you're encountering at school made you more determined to address some of those things with your own children when you've been going through the process of raising your girls?
