So I'm excited to be one of the first people to get to kind of share a little bit about what went into that, what maybe was the reason behind the need to rebrand and just where that has you right now.
2:56
Yeah, absolutely.
2:57
So I started my business about three years ago.
3:02
I was leading a marketing team at CVS Health focused on clinical trials.
3:08
And I like to say I was part of the 1% group.
3:11
where they laid off 1% of their workforce, which was 5,000 people in one day.
3:18
And I had the opportunity to say, okay, now is really the time.

13:08
What does that mean to you?
10:13
You focus... on growth through fractional CMO opportunities, right? So, but what are you building toward the next one to three years then? What's your dream vision?
10:25
Yeah.
10:26
So my mission statement for, since I started my company has been to grow giants and what that means, you know, differs to a lot of people.
10:34
Is it for your, you know, are you a giant within your industry? Are you a giant within your community? Are you individually a giant? Are you an organizational giant? And, and I, As I mentioned, my business has been in this interesting transition period where initially I was trying to do really all of the things and be a full marketing solution for companies.
10:56
And honestly, I was doing that because I didn't think people were Googling, I need strategy help.
11:02
Most of the time people come to me and say, I need a billboard or I need a website or I need whatever the tactical solution is.
11:09
And in my mind, tactics are the last thing.

11 MINS LATER

22:09
So what would you say to a founder then? You know, he knows or she knows their marketing needs leadership, but they are not ready for a full-time CMO.
18:28
What do you tell them at that, in that moment?
18:31
Yes.
18:32
Well, I th- I think to probably overstate, but I think that there are ways to connect in that stress, but only if you're willing to engage with yourself.
18:41
But we don't want to.
18:42
I don't.
18:42
I mean, anyone who would be like, "I don't want to," I don't blame you.
18:46
So I just want to say, like, I ...

Like, these moments.
