... right? Like, um, I would never be the quarterback, right? Um, but I need to trust that my quarterback knows, um, what the plays are and how they wanna run their offense.

Um, same thing with, with the fire service and, and the department.

And, uh, um, those connections and, and those relationships start way before the incident.

Um, uh, you know, it, it, those connections build trust, um, and that trust is extremely important.

But we bring in, you know, brand-new firefighters that have to trust that their company officers are gonna keep them safe day one, just like that company officer has to trust that that brand-new firefighter has the skills necessary to, um, you know, perform their best on their first day at maybe a, a, a career event, like, one of the worst things that they'll ever experience in their career happens, you know, day one.

Um, so those, those connections occur at the coffee table.
