Talk about that.

Well, I mean, it makes it nearly impossible to set a budget.

It makes it nearly impossible to run a business when you have price fluctuations up to $100, $150 overnight because of a war.

I mean, things like this, especially in agriculture, make it so hard to run a sound business.

Most people think that farmers buy their inputs the day that they want to go to the field.

A lot of us are buying those inputs 18 months in advance.

So when we have unexplained price increases, when we have unexplained reasons for setting prices, it's it it's impossible to to run a sound business that way so yes it's putting the squeeze on us um in in an ag economy that is has all-time highs in all the other areas in seed and chem and equipment um this is this is just kind of a twist of the knife

Is that something that concerns you or does it feel different this time that we might actually see some movement in a positive direction for farmers, Eric?

What do you want Ohio farmers to understand about this fight?

Well, I mean, I, I think it's very important to, to note that yes, w- we, we do need to take a breath, we do need to celebrate and, and, you know, really, really enjoy the win, but, you know, as Ryan Dave would say, this is one game.

Um, now it's on to the next.

And, uh, that's, that's exactly where we are going into this fight with, you know, going into the Senate.

So I think what I would like my fellow farmers to know is, uh, obviously yes, do not take your foot off the gas, do not stop telling your story, um, and do not stop, you know, reaching out and, and talking to your senators and, and really advocating and educating on every level, uh, the importance of, of E-15.

[laughs] We have, um, we have taken our fair share of blows on this and, and, you know, the fact that this, that this got through the House is what truly gives me the confidence and, and because it, it sh- it just goes to show that, that we can do this.

I mean, we, we went into the ring with a pretty big dog, um, and you know, we, we came out on top.
