And so what do you see out of your MSP owners when it comes to AI and their contracts? What are they most worried about and what should they actually be worried about?
19:22
Yeah.
19:23
It's a great question.
19:24
And there's a pretty big gap between what they are worried about and what they should be worried about.
19:30
I think they're worried more about, look, this is new, right? Relatively new as it comes to MSPs and AI.
19:37
So everything that comes up is a novel issue.
19:40
There's no playbook to go to.

10 MINS LATER

29:41
Does AI require entirely new contract language or does existing scope of services provisions already protect the MSP?
4:39
One, how do I, if I had a DPA or something like that, how does this work? And, and is this, I know we're eventually, we're going to have you on talking about AI and contracts, what, something you're going to do at right of boom, but this year, but how do we think about this? Is there anything we can do or is it tough crap? You've got a three-year contract, you've signed off and whatever you got to figure out with your customers, you got to figure out.
5:08
Yeah, it's a great question, Andrew.
5:10
And frankly, it's something that MSPs in general do not spend enough time looking at when they onboard a new vendor who's going to act as a third-party service provider to them.
5:20
Because I'll say the vast majority, but I'll almost go as far to say every single one of the vendor click-through agreements that I see have a clause, and it's in all caps, right in the second paragraph of the contract that says, we can change this whenever we want.
5:39
Period, full stop, right? Sometimes you get notified, sometimes you might not get notified, sometimes you might have to log on to a website, right? But MSPs are accepting these terms all the time that mean absolutely nothing because the vendor can go and change them tomorrow.
5:55
So when we go and we negotiate a vendor contract on behalf of an MSP, we put language in there that says, no, no, no, no, we're negotiating this specific language.
6:07
Here's what it's going to be until the two of us agree to change it.

But while I look for that to see if I can – oh, here it is, Eric.
