And then straight into a sprint race where, you know, he held station, he did really well, bought the car home clean, qualified brilliantly to make Q3 and it had quite a different car.

And then to just manage his race, like he said in his post-race interview, he felt a bit lonely for most of the race.

But for him to come home in seventh in the points, so it's more manufacturer points for Red Bull Racing, which is what they...

Will they give him another year in racing bulls, even though it is a developmental, so they say, programme for them? Or do you think the time is right now for Liam Lawson, given what he's done this year, to be picked off by another team?

Liam Lawson's there because he's a brilliant driver.

Exactly.

He's one of the few drivers on the grid that are there on talent and rather than having a very, very large checkbook.

So, but I mean, that's what makes it so, you know, so cool and groovy or stroke wonderful that Liam's there and he's sort of cemented himself as the best of the rest.

He's the best driver behind the top four teams, the top teams.

And also, I was a bit concerned, as I think a lot of the people I spoke to, that being promoted back into the Red Bulls again, you sort of start thinking, oh, is it going to happen again? But what a lot of people tend to forget is Lawrence Meeks, who is the principal who replaced Christian Horner, at Red Bull was with Liam Lawson when Liam Lawson was at V-Cup.

And so he knows Liam, he knows what he's like, and he's almost had another, you know, he's had a really stunning half-season under his belt.

And I'd argue that... you're probably going to do well to sort of go seventh or eighth because of having to adapt.

And I'd argue that... you're probably going to do well to sort of go 7th or 8th because of having to adapt.

You've absolutely nailed it.

And I agree, some people have said, oh, you know, he's in Max Verstappen's sister car, it's going to go really well.

Isaac Hadjar's done really well in it and has consistently been in Q3.

But it is a different car.

It's sort of pretty much the same power unit, but it's not like the car he was in last time.

And as he fled, he live-streamed what he was seeing and doing.

And I understand that people want information.

Right now, people are basically just doing everything they can, getting what they need and heading out.

So we asked Eric Thompson about the challenge of keeping people informed in the midst of this severe wildfire event.

People get frustrated when they don't have moment-by-moment updates.

People want more information more often and details that there is no way they could have.

And what is the priority for the Emergency Operations Centre right now? What are you guys dealing with?

Well, our priority is the priority of people who are on evacuation order and alert, especially order people who want to go home.

And we're very much hearing from those people, as you can imagine.

They want to know what's going on, when they can get home.

So you probably know we have this live stream going on, but we're also using the regular channels, which is our website.

The bottom line is people just want to know when they can go home.

And I won't get into the details because it'll take a while, but basically...

But I'm wondering if you have any sort of thing that you can share with people who are listening about what has helped you remain calm in this very unnerving, to say the least, situation.

So how significant is this Grand Prix in the broader championship race?

Of course it's important.

I mean, at the moment, what teams will be looking at is manufacturer's points.

And I've always been a bit, you know, like they love their drivers to win.

For a driver to win, it means nothing to the team financially.

They don't get anything.

It's all the money comes from how many manufacturer points you get.

He does sound like he's on the grassy knoll.

What have you made of still this very young career?

He's only 19 and he won...

Yeah, unheard of, sort of three back-to-back races.

He's had pole for five races in a row.

You know, the guy, I mean, if he didn't miss out on scoring points in the last two rounds, which allowed, especially his teammate, George Russell, you know, to close up on him from, because at one stage he had a 70-point gap on the rest of the field.

Now it's just over 20-odd points now.

So, you know, the rest of the field will be going off.

So how significant is this Grand Prix in the broader championship race?

And what was your reaction? What were you feeling?

I mean, it was, it was complete shock.

Then she said, she said, "I- it was with John Tokuhara." And then I was like, "Who?" And then she say, she said, you, you know, "Dr.

John." And I was like, I was like, oh...

It's like, "Oh, (censored) the, the, the massage guy?" And, and it was just, like, just didn't make any sense.

Like, like, not only, like, why? But it's like, like how, like, how logistically, like, could, like, could this happen? Like, I had no...

Like, prior to that week, there's, like, zero suspicion.

D- Did you ever feel like you had to go confront him?

At the same time, it is a conservative state.

I'd say it's a state that wants a smaller federal government.

He says Trump's actions aren't felt widely here yet, but some things like cuts to taxes and government spending could help Nebraska's economy.

I think the problematic policies are the tariff regime and also the, the limits on legal immigration.

Legal immigration's really important for our economy, certainly in this state.
