Why do you think that that happens?

It's just they're still, um...

They were taught stuff taught to them by their guys, taught to them by other people, blah, blah, blah, and it goes all the way back to the late '70s, early '80s, all the time.

Yank and crank, you've hear-- you, we know you've heard that term.

That is, they believe that-- They're, they're taught that these police dogs are, like, a, a whole 'nother level, when they're, they're really not, right? They're still dogs.

And I always tell people, police dogs are easy because they're so motivated.

Food, toy, scratch, whatever.

Oh, man.

Can you talk about what got you away from the police side of things and then into the pet side of things and then to the point now where you're juggling all sides of things?

Yeah, so I was still at the police department in 2018.

I retired November, uh, 2018.

And on my, um, VanS K9, which is my police dog business, I was still, I was starting to do that there, but I was, uh, starting to do pet dog training through VanS K9.

And I remember it was the summer of 2018, and I was on a, um, Instagram Live show with somebody, and they were interviewing me.

We were talking, and Aaron was listening to the show, and I, and he commented a couple of times.

And we had kind of met a little bit or talked online or whatever, and I remember, um, somebody, uh, asked me something, and I had made a comment like, "You should go to another agency," 'cause they were getting screwed over about getting a dog.
