And what is DUT syndrome, D-H-A-T? I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing that correctly.

DUT is a cultural bound syndrome.

So what that is, and like the DSM, it's like the DSM is very American and Eurocentric in terms of how we conceptualize mental disorders.

We recognize that there are disorders that aren't in the DSM that show up in other parts of the world.

There are... cultural excuse me what i call just like cultural idioms of like just how we speak about mental disorder symptoms are different cross-culturally and so just being it's the dsm's attempt to recognize that we have an american and eurocentric lens with diagnosing mental illness and if we have somebody outside of america north america too and you're a that let's be a little hesitant before we start applying these diagnoses to cultures outside of that because there's maybe some other explanations.

So there are sections that I kind of have a little bit more research on that are more like uniquely cultural to certain parts of the world.

And one of those is Dodd syndrome in Pakistan and India primarily.
