I would say it's an interesting argument.

And if the premise weren't fundamentally flawed, I would applaud it and agree with some of the implications that that brings us.

It certainly lets us off the hook in certain areas.

But the premise is actually not right.

To conflate AI with other technologies falls into the trap of a kind of pattern recognition that I think is lazy because we've seen so much hype before and then it just becomes yet another thing.

Okay, it's something we can deal with.

Where did you come up with this idea? And when you started this, what were some of the use cases that came to mind?
