My follow-up question would be, what was the initial clinical observation or gap in knowledge that prompts you and the research team to conduct this review? So you answered a bit with the previous question, but I wanted to know if there's additional knowledge gap or clinical finding that were important in the selection of this topic.
4:51
Yeah, I think I can take that, Alexandra.
4:53
You know, as a clinician, I think there's been this just amazing explosion, as Megan sort of said, in knowledge about macrophages, particularly in the lung, over the past 10 or 15 years in terms of their ontogeny, different subsets.
5:05
You know, they're obviously not a homogenous population, and we've really learned so much about them in different models.
5:11
but they still haven't yet translated necessarily to like a therapy that we can target, right? And we haven't really sort of taken that leap of sort of a lot of these omics data sets, a lot of these findings and animal models to actually the bedside, despite the fact that there's so much promise, right? The fact that macrophages are so plastic and reprogrammable means that they are ideally a target that we could sort of manipulate.
5:36
And they're involved in almost every sort of aspect of lung physiology and function.
5:41
And so I think really that's the biggest gap is how do we take all this knowledge that we're learning about it and sort of take it to the next step.
8:47
If anyone else wanted to add about what are the main takeaway from the review?
