I don't want to, you know, overstated because it's I'm grading Brian Pillman Jr. on his own curve not on a curve of like a Jon Moxley on the microphone but I thought it was a positive step in the right direction so Eric I want to get your thoughts on that segment and MJF's work on the mic and Pillman's work on the mic

well I'll start by saying I think Nick may be on to something with the punk thing so punk came out there and And he was putting everybody else over at the start of his promo, and he was introducing the concept that Brian Pillman Jr.'s aunt, the woman who raised him after his father died and his mother had issues, is chronicled on Dark Side of the Ring.

So he was sort of – he was teasing that.

It was a foreshadowing.

But I'm looking at the AEW Dynamite Grand Slam on 9-22 at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York, the card.

MJF versus Brian Pillman Jr.

And so what you have there is Brian Pillman Jr. is a sort of lower mid-card baby face with a famous name who can lose to MJF.

But, yeah, stuff like that tonight, like I just don't know that there's enough value there that makes it worth the risk.

But I think the perception is now maybe he's entering that zone.

Yeah, it could be.

I mean, both of these guys... relatively underutilized due to the deep roster, you know, since they, since they joined the company.

And so, um, this one's been weird because it's sort of been rushed.

I mean, Miro didn't even get two seconds to celebrate his title win before Lance Archer is out there, uh, on the last sort of normal time slot with an audience that wasn't going to get eaten into by basketball dynamite a couple of weeks ago.

And, and they quickly set it up and it's been rushed, but you know, it's a hoss fight.

The meat's going to be slapping.

Uh, Eric, your thoughts.

But as far as the full-time tag teams, do they have enough where the Bucs have the opponents necessary to not end up being the cool, cheered heels, which I hope is not AEW's goal.

I mean, to Derek's point, the Bucks got over big in New Japan.

They're national, I guess, sort of – it was a big stage for them.

They got over – and they were cool heels, right? I mean, there's a reason everyone's wearing Bullet Club merchandise a number of years ago.

Even if they didn't know what the hell the Bullet Club was, it was the cool heel thing.

And so – For them, the psychology in this match with Phoenix and Pac was different.

It was the standard psychology of a match.
