What do you guys do to help producers and what do you tell them to do to be prepared to deal with the effects of these big fires?
16:46
Well, Western Landowners in and of itself, we have policy focus and we usually let producers in specific areas tell us what they'd like to see in terms of policy and pushing that forward.

We're in kind of an extraordinary time right now in that agency personnel that were already a little thin a couple years ago are much thinner now you know i was just talking to someone out in oregon asking her she ranches out there what her experience has been and you know they have a lot of I can't remember the exact acronym they use out there, but are usually rancher-led situations out there that end up fighting a lot of fire.

And she said often on a couple of fires this year, they didn't have agencies show up other than to check and see that they were still alive a couple of times.
17:43
Wow.
17:44
She said they were stretched pretty thin and that's always worrisome.

And to go back to your bigger question of what we can do, so hard on public allotments because of the limitations to what we can do.

Whether with WLA or on your own place, have you had to deal with health concerns for your cattle when it comes to smoke?
