What did it look like 10 years ago?
58:29
It was me and my dining room table.
58:33
There was Steve at his.
58:36
I don't even know if he had a dining room table at that point.
58:38
He might have been on the streets.
58:41
We were just, you know, any opportunity we could get.
58:44
Our very first client was, what's the website that you use to make a reservation at a restaurant? Resi? It was the Chinese version of that website.
JackHOST
59:59
yeah i i we gotta find that original that commercial but so then after that was like is the the way the story goes you just kind of had some a case study and then you rolled that over and then more opportunities came up how'd you guys what was like a bird a big first break for you all
JackHOST
72:36
And I'd love to hear your perspective on that.
72:39
Yeah, that's a great question, because what's happened recently is all the media has, you know, It used to be mostly 30s and a couple 15 sprinkled in.
72:47
And obviously, it's so much more economic for the clients and the money goes so much further with 15.
72:53
So 15s have really become kind of commonplace and almost the default media, especially with CPG companies.
73:01
So it's something we're really good at.
73:04
We do really well.
73:05
I especially have done it for a long time now.
JackHOST
74:35
Yeah.
28:49
Yeah.
28:50
I can understand that.
28:51
We haven't had any clients have problems with that.
28:53
I would say the bigger thing, like, that...
28:56
I've taken away is like I mentioned before, timelines are a lot shorter now and creatives are on a lot more projects at the same time.
29:05
Um, so to have one half of a team to have an art director, not have to take.
29:11
Uh, two hours to, if you have a commercial or Michael Jordan's jumping over the moon to find a picture of Michael Jordan, cut it out, find a picture of the moon, cut it out, spend an hour in Photoshop and make it look nice.
31:14
And what would you recommend that the next generation, what should they be doing if they want to get into this kind of industry?
