Jason FishmanHOST
I know I touched on a few of the details of your background, but where did it all get started for you? How did you get involved in the world of finance, entrepreneurship, the world of growth?

Eric JosovitzGUEST
Back when I was playing football, I was playing D2 football as a receiver at the University of West Georgia.

Eric JosovitzGUEST
And let's just say I left football and I left the pre-med biology major behind at West Georgia and I transferred to Georgia State where I picked up accounting.

Jason FishmanHOST
Do you see that a lot? Do you see groups that are saying, hey, we're gonna invest into our growth versus we need to be profitable right now? And what are some other topics that come across your desk regularly?

It's cool, but it's not going to show me who you are and If it is a good fit, you're probably gonna fizzle out real fast.

Eric JosovitzGUEST
got its numbers right you got to get a lot of candidates you have to you know weed through them you have to make sure you look at everyone there could be a resume that you pass on when really that was a strong resume so pay attention to the resumes weed through them and then pick a handful of people five to ten people and get them on an interview with Someone on your team that can just that can filter them out 15 minutes Then have another interview with maybe another team member and then typically that's when I jump in So I'm really at that point They meet our criteria from the first interview second They meet our technical standards, right? They can in there answer accounting or finance questions very well and also communication and culture a little bit of culture, but I'm jumping into culture and the person itself.

Eric JosovitzGUEST
Who are they? What kind of person are they? How did they react to certain situations? I'll give you a little secret.

Chad CardenHOST
How do you keep people connected? What are some of those things that you do that authentically keep kind of the team as a team and they see themselves as a team, not on an island by themselves?
