How long is the correction likely to last and how deep could this correction be?

I am looking at the NASDAQ 100 as really being the leader in what I perceive to be a multi-month topping process.

It's a little bit like the fourth quarter of last year, where the NASDAQ peaked in late October and then set a series of successive highs, none of which took out that October high, even as most of the other indexes were making their way up to slightly higher highs and creating some divergence there.

And it wasn't until a couple months later that a little bit more convincing selling took hold and then lasted into late March.

In fact, at the time back in late March, I talked about some pretty consistent cycles in the Dow and a couple other key indexes that were projecting a multi-month low for the very end of March.

Where is crude oil in its cycle?
