If they sent out that message and nobody clicked and nobody replied, they'd stop.

So when you're getting any of these, like the unpaid tolls or messages from Amazon or your bank or things like that, and it's fraud 'cause you look at the messages or you look at the email and you're like, "Hey, this doesn't feel right," the f- frequency in which you're receiving it- Is the frequency in which people are falling victim to it.

So just that Florida toll example, which is, like, $49, they have made over $3 million on that in six months.

And the problem that we have is we know who they are, we know where they're coming from, but they're in countries that don't have extradition treaties, and it's not against the law.

A lot of these attacks c- are coming from Russia, and then people are surprised, North Korea, Iran, that those are big scams because they're easy, they're simple, and we don't have extradition treaties or laws.

So the problem is law enforcement and cybersecurity professionals like me, we know where they are, but we can't do anything.

Yeah.

I don't know if this is the best he's ever played, but what's your read on what he is doing, how he is impacting this series?

I honestly, I feel like he's, emulating their coach from back when, you know, 20 years ago when we were going through it with Roddy leading our team as captain.

I think he just, he, like, he is the, like, you couldn't have asked for, like, a better coach leader for this group a better leader for a rod brindamore coached team because he is somebody that just sets the tone sets the example sets the standard in everything that he does he's just he's such a great he's such a great pro um obviously like you know i had the the pleasure of you know playing with his brother for many many years and i can remember That year that we won was actually his draft year.

So he was coming around and doing the whole tour that they do with the prospects and everything leading up to the draft.

I mean, he's the original Gronk, too.

Before Gronk was a thing, he was the Gronk.

I remember Eric coming back to... to raleigh once already he was like oh he's like yeah he's like he's like jordan's just he's he's he kicked our butts and workouts this summer he was like he's like he's he's just a freak he didn't like like eric didn't have like any other words to describe that other than he's like yeah we like we literally call him the gronk like he's just he's a he's a big strong man and and to your point about the whole like skating and speed and everything He's such a big human, but he's got a really long stride, right? And he's a lot – I think he's deceptively fast, especially for where he's at in his career and everything.

But ultimately, what have you seen from Ajo and Svechnikov, which are kind of the missing pieces offensively right now for this group because the other two lines are definitely creating?

Mm.

So, like, when you have an organization that's had that history, and you have a head coach that was a part of all that, like, I, I, I mean, I'm not surprised.

And, you know, if you've watched Roddy's press conference, he said it was a simple conversation.

Like, and the goalie coach said like, "Hey, like, Freddie needs a break," which rightfully so.

Like, he's been so good and so dialed in, like, this, this playoff.

And huge emotional win, um, to close out the Montreal series with everything, like, just hanging over with, with, with Claude.

Like, and, you know, like, it, it's, it's gonna take a, a, a toll on anyone, let alone somebody that's, you know, riding just a rollercoaster of emotions, um, through a series.

Like, what, what can you tell us about that day?

Could you just go back to when you were a hacker at the CIA? I mean, what does that mean? What does it look like? When was that happening?

Uh, so this was happening, uh, in the early '90s.

So I'm, I'm working in the CIA in 1990 doing AI programming to basically track and monitor terrorist activity.

And then in 1992, something interesting came out, and it's called the World Wide Web.

I know people are sort of shocked.

The World Wide Web didn't come out until '92, and I'm now sitting there designing and building some of the first websites out on what was called the internet back then, which looked a lot different.

And I sat there and asked myself a simple question.

You think AI, despite its massive computing capacity, is, is, um, is, is still in a completely different category?
