Yeah, so I guess my regenerative journey started going to an agricultural college in western North Carolina, where I live now, studying sustainable agriculture, which then led to a career in farm management on diversified livestock farms up and down the East Coast.

I was managing a farm a few years ago up in northern Vermont that was severely devastated by some pretty catastrophic flooding.

which led me into a career exploring and learning about climate resiliency and climate adaptation planning for farms focused on in Vermont.

Did that for a number of years and really enjoyed it and dove deep into the ways that regenerative livestock farming can be the most resilient model in the face of increasing climate disruption.

And then that work transitioned directly into doing more farmer organizing and advocating for those more resilient systems, which transitioned me to this work now at the ASPCA, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, leading and administering their face ag network, really supporting farmers to perform advocacy to achieve policy wins that prop up the type of farming we want to see around the country.
