The Master of Disguise with Eric Auger

But c- can you remember the first time you felt like deep excitement about creating a costume?
E

Costuming and imagination espe- I would say like imagination especially where I grew up, um, it was a time where we, we were...
E

We weren't well off, but my dad worked very hard and we were fortunate to have what we needed, but I was not one of those kids that had everything that a kid might want.

And a lot of my neighbors would have, like what I would want, and I would take that as inspiration to create something and say, "Well, I can make that." A lot of my imagination and creativity with creating three-dimensional things really started with action figure play sets and creating worlds for my action figures to reside in or for me to play with.

I would l- like legit forage through the forest and get the wood and get the bark and get the whatever and make forts and make all of these, uh, adventure lands for my figures to play in.

And then as I got older and started playing with figures less, it was more, well, how do I use my imagination now that I'm like 11 or 12 or 13? And then that got to building more like forts or, um, going in the woods and building tree houses or, um, just a little bit more hands-on with the creativity as I started to understand more.
