Get the pop.

A thousand years ago in a land called Thra, a magical crystal cracks, creating two new races: the gentle Mystics and the cruel Skeksis, who have since ruled Thra and rendered it a barren wasteland.

Raised by the Mystics is Jen, whose parents were killed by the Skeksis, and who believes himself to be the last Gelfling.

When his dying Mystic master tasks him with fulfilling a prophecy to heal the crystal, Jen sets out to find its missing shard in the possession of the oracle Aughra.

Meanwhile, the Skeksis emperor dies, triggering a power struggle between two Skeksis, the Chamberlain and the General.

The General wins, exiling the Chamberlain, as the villains learn of Jen's existence and send their forces, the Garthim, to stop him from fulfilling the prophecy.

Jen finds Aughra and retrieves the missing shard, but the Garthim attack, capturing Aughra as Jen flees.
