um to the albert hall forestry rally um where it's often said that john howard could have almost did crowd surf on the shoulders of you know the workers at that event could that happen today do you think what is that is that a thing that is no longer going to be possible
26:21
Oh, look, I'm sure it is possible because the overwhelming goodwill of the Australian people, and get back to 2004, but first of all, to Helen Haynes, her family, her staff, all those around her, prayers and thoughts are with you.
26:39
That which happened to her, irrespective of whether her, whatever her politics may be or may not be, nobody deserves.
26:50
to be confronted with that.
26:53
So present thoughts are with her.
26:56
And it reminds us that those of us in public life do need to be exceptionally careful.
27:04
Going to 2004, I still recall the Albert Hall being full of the Hiveys army basically.
31:48
Do you look back at that time and think that maybe there was some things done or some lessons that can be learned from what happened with that budget or was perhaps, um, that budget misunderstood?
13:16
In the meantime, Minister, the much debated new stadium project in Hobart, What can you tell our listeners about its need, its planning and its budget?
13:32
Look, a very, very exciting project for Tasmania to have a brand new stadium, multi-purpose stadium, which will provide a facility for our own, our very first and own AFL team, the Tasmania Devils.
13:51
We'll be able to play cricket there.
13:53
We'll be able to have concerts there.
13:55
We'll be able to have conventions there.
13:58
And so at the moment, Tasmania, for example, is restricted to conferences and conventions at about 800, 900 people.
14:07
With this new centre, we'll be able to attract conventions of up to 1,500 people.
19:06
And without getting too treasury about it or too technical about it, what does that mean and what are the realistic hopes of doing that? And why is it so important?
