So what does PMOS mean and why is it changed from PCOS? Well, I

thought actually, before I answer that, I would really love it if everybody who was listening just could take a moment to think about their own personal experience, whether, whether your periods have always been regular, or whether they've indeed been irregular.
2:17
And whether over the course of your reproductive life or post reproductive life, have you ever experienced a new onset of acne? Or have you ever had to deal with unwanted facial hair, or hair thinning, you know, anything to do with difficulty managing your weight, where it just doesn't seem right that you can't lose that weight and something seems to be stopping you? Or have you experienced problems conceiving? And I think it's really important if during the presentation you could just write down anything that you feel is relevant and maybe you could just write down some questions that you might want to ask your GP after this session.

But Let's start with the question that you asked me.
3:05
So, you know, PMOS is essentially a new name for a condition known as PCOS.
3:13
And reassuringly for everybody, you know, firstly, it's not that the condition has changed at all.
3:22
It's just, you know, and that means that somebody who's previously been diagnosed with PCOS, you know, The condition still exists.
