So when you were in this survival mode then, how much attention were you able to give to your own well-being? What was the moment when you realised you needed to start looking after yourself too?

And I think when you're in survival mode, you you put yourself at the bottom of the pile.

you've got things like OT appointments you might be fighting for a diagnosis chasing up EHCP applications we were dealing with part-time timetables and negotiating that and explaining EBSA over and over and of course all the endless research where you're just trying to find answers so really with all that going on you kind of forget about yourself and I think The turning point came for me in moments where my reactiveness felt uncontrollable and scary to me.
