And I raise this because we've met lots of great people in the past 18 months on the road, including folks we've become friendly with when we have house sat for them.

And even in Birdsville, you know, chatting to people there and then catching up again in Winton, you know, a week later, recognising at the pub, exchanging numbers, saying, you know, where will you be at Christmas time? This is where we'll be.

And making these great connections.

Or do you just find that being in country places, like I used to find going around singing, people are just fantastic?

And we've seen, we've seen a lot of Grey Nomads and, and we've become friendly with a few of them.

You know, we, we went to Betoota, um, and then to Birdsville, and there's race meetings at both of them.

I, of course, come from a, a racing family and, um, yeah, we saw the same people.

You say good day and, and it was, it was quite nice to catch up with a few familiar faces over the last fortnight.

And now we are, we're just doing a little bit of exploring before we head towards the coast because Waterboy, touch wood, there's no wood in this van, but if I had some, I'd touch it.

Which leads us to your question tonight, which is a really good one.

What are you absolutely terrified of? And I posed that question tonight because today I touched a huntsman spider.

Now, it doesn't seem like a big deal to everyone, but it was awful and I've been waiting for it to happen.

Of course, when you're out in the outback and you're traveling Australia, there's Creepy callers everywhere.

So today, I touched a huntsman on the door of the truck without realising it.

Was it hairy? It ran...

Ah, no, it was very soft.

I would never kill them.

You don't know what to – you have to prepare yourself, but you don't know what to expect, I guess.

Yes, yes.

We are very organised.

I mean, we have budgets and we stick to it and that's how you do it long term, we found, you know, so far as even talking to our financial planners around how to make it work long term.

But the house sitting part was a surprise.

We hadn't thought that we would do very much of it when we set out last February.

And we were quite surprised to find out that more than half of our nights on the road had been in-house sits because we just didn't seek out to do it.
