Emily,
11:35
I think there's two sides to this.
11:37
Okay, I'm going to be diplomatic here.
11:38
Gen Z or millennial.
11:40
So I am just about on the cusp of a millennial.
11:44
So I was born in 96 and the Gen Z years started in 97.
11:47
So I am holding the fort down very, very much.
14:32
What about you, Emily? Anything that really scared you? I'm really going to out myself here.

15:20
And Emily McAvoy, you're looking forward to a good year with St Anne's ahead?
15:23
Yeah, it will be more motivated now this year.
11:02
Is this exhausting?
11:03
It is exhausting.
11:05
Honestly, like my friends who and I have friends who are have met people through dating apps and are engaged to be married and or friends that have been with their high school sweet parts as such.
11:15
And, you know, I've always been kind of the single friend in my group.
11:18
It's just the way it's always been.
11:19
And like they'll always say to me, like they'll even have a look at my like dating profiles for a laugh, essentially like out of their entertainment.
11:27
And I have no problem with it.

13 MINS LATER

24:37
Emily, is it better now than it was then?
19:26
I couldn't agree more.
19:27
I think now the problem I have said that to so many of my friends you know like you know boyfriends of my friends and like we're all you know very close and connected and you know I'll say to them like do you not have any guy friends and the same response you get all the time which it grinds my gears so much they're not good enough for you just it's a good way to meet people and it's I would love if that would happen like I would love if my friends turned around and said I'm hosting like a pizza night you know so and so so and so is bringing their single friends you know and then it's just one kind of big kind of interconnected thing and then it's more organic it's more natural they don't instigate it and you don't want to be seen as kind of the single kind of one going oh Oh, can you organise this for me? Because I want to find someone.
20:12
No, I think the onus is on them and they should do it.
25:07
Emily, is it better now than it was then?
25:11
No.
25:13
No, I don't think so.
25:14
No, I think now it's just, it's too complicated.
25:17
It's too complex.
18:35
I couldn't agree more.
18:36
I think now the problem I have said that to so many of my friends you know like you know boyfriends of my friends and like we're all you know very close and connected and you know I'll say to them like do you not have any guy friends and the same response you get all the time which it grinds my gears so much they're not good enough for you Just it's a good way to meet people.
18:58
And it's I would love if that would happen.
19:00
Like I would love if my friends turned around and said, I'm hosting like a pizza night, you know, so-and-so is bringing their single friends, you know, and then it's just one kind of big kind of interconnected thing.
19:11
And then it's more organic.
19:12
It's more natural.
19:13
They don't instigate it.
