Um, so when faced with injury how do you think you handle it and what does your recovery process look like
4:00
so um for people that don't know i actually break my nose like it's a day job um i've broken my nose probably like in wrestling i think i broke it at least four times and i have now gotten to the point where the doctor refuses surgery on me um And I'm like, guys, because I broke it a lot when I was in cheer.
4:22
Had surgery, like, three times.
4:24
And now they're like, we're not going to fix it again until you're done wrestling.
4:28
I said, come on, guys.
4:30
But I feel like my recovery time, like, With that, I know how to handle like broken noses and concussions now from how often that I got them in cheer.
4:41
And I'm like, okay, we just 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off with like a cold press.

I'm like,
5:32
So, like, please give us the full rundown.
5:35
Yeah, so I never reconsidered myself like a comic book nerd, but I did love Captain America so much when I was a kid because my grandfather, as you put in bold, had the old timey, like from the early 60s, like the B, I would say C movies.
5:51
They're not good at all.
5:52
Like they make the Adam West Batman look like Oscar bait.
5:56
Um, but I used to watch them when I was a kid cause he had them on VHS and I loved them and I had like a Captain America doll and he was like, you know, the other, the other groom to all my Barbies.
6:07
Um, and yeah.
6:09
And so when...

fun way.
7:06
How does that conversation start? And then my next question is, like, how much do they hit a young aspiring wrestler to become a wrestler? How much does that cost?
7:18
So you always want to invest in yourself.
7:20
You always want to do your research on specific schools.
7:23
You don't just want to go to, like, any school because you never know – Who's actually trained you.
7:30
I went to a school for a good, like two years and realized very quickly, they didn't teach me anything.
7:36
Right.
7:37
Um, so like once I got down to flatbacks, I was like, Oh, this is how it's supposed to work.

10 MINS LATER

17:42
But isn't it like, does it skeeve you out, for lack of a better term?
0:48
oh my goodness so
0:49
i've lived in virginia my whole life and i never expected to wrestle in my home state let alone like thank god um i actually got the invite because i was so nervous i wasn't going to and i was like They came to my hometown like back in August and then I didn't get the invite and I was like, damn, that kind of sucks.
1:12
And then I got the invite again and I got to wrestle in Fairfax, which is about like two hours away from my house.
1:20
And sadly, my mom is normally always at these shows for me.
1:25
And this is the one time she didn't go because she was on a cruise.
1:27
But every time she goes on a cruise, I end up having to match.
1:30
So I was like, you know what, girls, stay on the cruises.
2:12
I'm
9:35
How were you able to kind of overcome all those emotions? And then talk about the feedback that you got afterwards.
9:44
So my first match was actually a part of this wrestler named George South, which I adore George South more than the world.
9:52
It was his, like, 60th birthday party, and I had my first match there.
9:58
I was like, "Okay, I love this." And it was a triple threat, um, against Brittney Jay and Ella Envy.
10:04
They took the best care of me in that match, because I was a walking anxiety ball at that point.
10:12
And they're like, "We can go over this as much as you want." Like, "You got this." Like, "We're gonna prove to everybody why you deserve to be here." And I actually watched that match back, like, a couple, like, weeks ago, 'cause my favorite thing to do is go back and watch my matches and make fun of myself, 'cause I'm like, "What am I doing?" [laughs] Like, "Why was I just standing there?" But, like, watching the match back, I'm like, "Okay, this could've been a lot better." For this to be my first match, it wasn't that bad.
10:40
But, like, I got to the back and, um, George South was actually the first person to come find me, and he was like, "Baby doll, you just proved to everybody, like, you, you deserve to be here." [laughs]
